Everybody knows... Head to your toes... your part of the memory. It seemed so easy to believe, so easy to see... what was ahead of me. I'm coming home. 1989 weighs on my mind... part of the chemistry. We learned computerized command. I can’t understand. What are you feeding me? I'm coming home. Everybody knows someone who can't escape from yesterday. Their hallways lined with better times... repeat the story and you'll find that everybody knows someone who can't escape from yesterday. Their hallways lined with better times repeat the story and you'll find... Images will grow... pictures will show... pages of history. So here's to you DMRC, and all that you mean... now just a memory. I'm coming home.

Open-ended promises Dressed to let her go Searching for the trigger cut Just to let her know On a night like this...only one thing I will miss. On a night like this...on a night like this. Dressed in vinyl, 33 Needle on the round Ties her to the trigger cut Once her favorite sound On a night like this...only one thing she will miss. On a night like this...on a night like this.

Some dreams are as real as they seem In the morning he knows when he wakes up and goes It's another waste of time. And he's not going to change his mind. Gutters and graves And soon he believes he's as real as the trees But the leaves down below scatter dead on the snow It's another waste of time And he's not going to change his mind. I've seen the markers planted...straight-line memories I've seen the people on the street believe in defeat and it brings them to their knees. Some dreams are as real as machines When the engine lets go...it was all just a show And another waste of time And he's not going to change his mind.

Will we hear the chimes When the clock hand lands on nine? Rewind...back in the day we'd smile. Tell me you'll pull through There's so much left we could do I'm not ready to let you go But I love you...hope you know And she said... Work can wait my child But you go that extra mile Rewind...back in the day we'd smile. Time takes hold my dear Even though I'm leaving here Don't you carry a heavy load Was a good life...hope you know And he said...

Gray 03:02
We go up and down and around One-way ticket...talk of the town Skywalks...political talks...these insurance games are all the same Blue bridges...235 in a picture frame. It snows...that's ok and it shows. Some say "watered down," but it grows The Travelers light in the night on an empty skyline I don't mind A walk through Waterworks Park...just to find the time. We go up and down and around You say "look at all that we've found." A two-tone chemical glaze observation raises questions here Our lake is grayer than gray but the coast is clear.

Lampshade Parade (free) 02:27
Setbacks are scheduled for tomorrow But it's getting better every day No lampshade parades in this house We've thrown the light bulbs all away Under setting sun...no time to think about what went wrong...oh oh What's done is done...when vinyl vindication plays ‘til dawn...oh oh 80 proof visions of the future Vacancies in the ice cube tray No street side silhouettes in this town We've thrown the light bulbs all away Under setting sun...no time to think about what went wrong...oh oh What's done is done...when vinyl vindication plays ‘til dawn...oh oh When will you come back around? You know it's been a long, long while You say...you say you've seen a difference I say you've always made me smile Setbacks are scheduled for tomorrow But it's getting better every day No lampshade parades in this house We've thrown the light bulbs all away Under setting sun...no time to think about what went wrong...oh oh What's done is done...when vinyl vindication plays ‘til dawn...oh oh

Waiting 02:25
I'm waiting... it's so frustrating I hope you someday will come true Blonde Comet pick me up and take me away...take me away Oh my Some say it's so overrated Outdated...and power-faded But when it picks me up it takes me away...takes me away Oh my This is a new beginning With second chances thinning Blonde Comet pick me up and take me away...take me away Oh my

Rain Fade 03:58
It's always lonely when it's cold outside It's getting colder everyday He only calls her when it's cold outside She only answers when it rains "It's always lonely at the top," she'd say I'll never make it anyway "Your smiling face should stay downstairs," she'd say That's where I take it everyday It's cold outside That's where I hide And what she'd say It's rain fade
